The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has initiated a project to design and deploy a communications infrastructure and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) in the Western Massachusetts region as part of the Commonwealth's transportation system. Construction will take place along Interstates 91 and 291 between the Connecticut and Vermont borders.

Listed below are current construction corridors along I-91 for this week.
Holyoke
Construction continues on I-91 Southbound between Exit 15 and Exit 16. Work will take place 8:00am to 4:00pm. Expect possible lane closures and delays. Observe all posted signs and proceed with caution.
Springfield
Construction continues on I-91 southbound at Exit 1. Work will take place 11:00pm to 7:00am. Expect possible lane closures and delays. Observe all posted signs and proceed with caution.
